SHIP & SURVIVAL
LEVEL 1 START: Your mission begins with a
high-speed "Warp-In" arrival. Unlike later levels, you start Level 1 without an initial energy
shield—stay alert!
CRITICAL WARNING: When you are down to
your final ship, the last ship icon in your Score Console as well as the border of your play
screen will flash red to warn you.
EXTRA LIFE: Collect 10 Energy Orbs to
earn an extra ship.
ACCURACY BAR
Track your shot accuracy in real-time. The bar fills when you hit
asteroids and depletes when you miss.
GRACE PERIOD: Your first 25 missed shots
do not count against your accuracy.
FIRE RATE PENALTY: If accuracy falls
below 50%, your firing speed slows down. This penalty increases at 40% and becomes critical at
30%.
ACCURACY BONUS: You receive a bonus at
the conclusion of a run, beginning at Level 5. This bonus increases with your shooting accuracy.
Specifically, bonus points are awarded for every 5% segment remaining in your accuracy bar.
THE BOSS ASTEROID
Appearing first on level 3 and then every 5 levels, the Boss is a massive golden asteroid that
acts as a gateway to high scores and power-ups.
DESTRUCTION: It requires 10 hits to break
apart.
STAGES: Once destroyed, it splits into
multiple stages of smaller golden fragments.
THE PAYOFF: Destroying the final stage of
fragments is the only way to release Energy Orbs.
ENERGY ORBS & LASER CHARGES
Once released by Boss fragments, collect these orbs to upgrade your
ship:
POINTS: Golden/Orange orbs are worth 100,
200, or 300 points based on size.
LASER CHARGES: Some small golden orbs
grant one Laser Charge.
1 – 2 Charges:
Your ship can fire a SUPER LASER.
3 Charges: Your ship is upgraded
to fire a MEGA LASER.
LASER BOOST ORB
Beginning at Level 21, be on the lookout for a rare, purple energy
anomaly.
TRIPLE FIRE: Collecting this orb grants
temporary, unlimited Triple Laser fire.
PHASE SHIFTER ORB
Beginning at Level 6, a rare cyan/purple Ghost Vibe orb can appear.
It looks different from normal Energy Orbs, with vibrating rings and a ghostly glow.
GHOST VIBE: Collecting it immediately
activates 5 seconds of phase movement. Your ship becomes semi-transparent and can pass through
normal asteroids, shattering them on contact instead of being destroyed.
SUPER vs. MEGA LASER
Hold the SPACEBAR (or Fire Button) to charge:
SUPER LASER (1–2 Charges): A powerful
beam that cracks asteroids into smaller pieces and destroys the smallest of the asteroids.
Duration: 0.5s | Cost: 1 Charge
MEGA LASER (3 Charges): The ultimate
weapon. A massive beam that completely vaporizes everything it touches.
Duration: 0.6s | Cost: All 3 Charges
SPECIAL ASTEROIDS (LEVEL 7+)
CRYSTALLINE (CYAN GLOW): Explodes into a
massive shockwave. It destroys nearby asteroids but has an inner danger zone that can destroy
your ship!
CHAIN LIGHTNING (YELLOW SPARKS): Releases
electric bolts that jump and fork between up to 8 nearby targets.
PRISM (RAINBOW GLOW): When destroyed, it
fires 16+ rainbow lasers in a 360-degree burst, clearing large sections of the screen.
